Sourcing and diligence

The highest cost of investing in or buying a company in this region is not the capital: it is the time spent reviewing companies that were never going to clear committee. This line exists so that filtering happens earlier, on the company's side, and so that when a business for sale or an investment opportunity reaches you, it already arrives with its information in order and verified.

A well-prepared opportunity does not make the decision for you. It saves you the months of working out whether it was worth taking.

Our method

Where this line fits

We take every engagement through to closing in four phases. This line works on Explore y Close.

01
Explore

A five-dimension assessment and a prioritised map of the gaps.

02
Structure

Vehicle, valuation, projections and a memorandum ready for committee.

03
Connect

We take the engagement to investors whose thesis fits and run the roadshow.

04
Close

Negotiation, term sheet, due diligence and support after signing.

What this line covers

Deal flow

Businesses for sale and opportunities filtered before they reach your desk

Every company that enters the Deal Room has been through the readiness process first, and arrives with a Penttia Score showing which dimensions are verified and which are not. You can browse the teasers and filter them without signing up, and you only leave your details if you want to take one further.

What you get
  • Access to the Deal Room, with no sign-up.
  • Blind teasers with a score you can verify across five dimensions.
  • Filters by sector, country, transaction type and transaction value.
  • Opportunities matching your thesis brought to you directly.

Due diligence

Due diligence before you buy the company you are interested in

When an opportunity moves forward, we support the deeper review: we coordinate the data room, organise the information requests and give you whatever detail you ask for on each dimension. If a contingency exists, it surfaces during diligence and not after signing.

What you get
  • Coordination of the process and the data room with the company.
  • Detail by dimension, with the supporting documents behind each point.
  • Contingencies identified, along with their effect on valuation.
  • Support through the negotiation and up to closing.

Frequently asked

What people usually ask us

Is there a cost for the investor?

Browsing the Deal Room costs nothing and requires no sign-up. Diligence and advisory services are agreed separately, with scope and fees defined before we start.

What is the Penttia Score?

It is each company's readiness score. It adds a point for each of the five dimensions that is verified, so a 5/5 means all five passed review and a 3/5 tells you exactly which ones are missing.

Can I see the opportunities without signing up?

Yes. The teasers are open and can be filtered freely. We only ask for your details when you want to take a specific opportunity further.

Which countries do you source from?

Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Ecuador.
